Our product includes our autonomous robot, a consumer dashboard (as shown here), and AI algorithms. One of our algorithms predicts solar production and then compares it to the actual production to determine cleanliness. Our other algorithms will help the Solyra robot clean effectively by using alignment, edge detection, and vision technology.
Our mission is to boost the efficiency of residential solar panels, while minimizing extra costs to the consumer, such as broken roof tiles, scratches on the solar panels, and injury. We designed Solyra, a residential solar panel cleaning robot.
Solyra is a combination of Sol, Surya, and Ra. Sol is the Norse sun goddess, Ra is the Egyptian sun god, and Surya is the Hindu sun god and our team member's dog.
